How long should ad-aware take to scan?

    How long should ad-aware take to scan? (4 1/2 hours!!!!!)

    I downloaded ad-aware 6 yesterday - I followed directions for deep scanning on C & D drives - it's been scanning for a few hours today, is this right? o_O The rest of my computer is also running slow.
