How long do unactivated licences last?

    I have just seen ESS 5 on amazon for £13, but I still have over 6 months left on the licence I have now. if I were to buy the one on offer now to save money later, would the licence still be valid once I try to activate it in 6 months time, or would it be invalidated?

    no it will be good. when you buy a retail boxed version it has a activation code that you need to go to eset web site and enter to get the lic info...this is as long as its a BOXED version and not just the lic key those start when purchased..
