    Security companies are loosing business. Mobile devices usually don,t need an antivirus.

    For Android phones, if you only download apps from Google Play, there is little chance of getting infected. Also I don't think that many people even consider using an antivirus for their smartphones.

    All of them official app stores have very little chance of infection, much like Linux repositories. The only real use for mobile AV is their enhanced anti-theft and other bells & whistles.

    This is an excellent proof that security software is useless.
    Phones are running without security apps - and nothing sinister is afoot!
    Not only that, everything is peachy, the business flourishes, all is well.
    So yes, point proven.
