ive heard very mixed issues on this i really want to try it as i am using kerio 4 right now and i really like it but it uses so much resources!! but i want to make sure lns its not another zone alarm, granted yes zone is a good firewall but a royal pain to uninstall. ive had many problems with getting rid of all of it. please let me know any thoughts on this.

    LNS has it's own uninstaller.
Easy to do if you ever want to do uninstall after trying it

yes but so does zone alarm. my question was in regards to what it leaves behind and if you have to go searching for all the leftovers to remove them so you can install something else?? sorry if i didnt explain that right, thanks

My experience with it has been good. It seems to remove itself fine. Just leaves the Soft4ever folder under Program Files, but that can be manually deleted. No big deal. No problems here... Nothing like ZA anyway..

You could use the Phantastic Uninstaller from here.

Its a unofficial uninstaller that should remove every trace of LnS from your system. Use is at your own risk, its *not* from the makers of LnS, but I have never had any problems with it.

One important thing: don't use 3rd party removal tools (like TotalUninstall) before running the Look 'n' Stop uninstaller.

In very rare occasions, with another firewall installed at the same time (or another firewall badly uninstalled), we encountered some cases where the uninstall didn't happen correctly.
