    Hi,

Does anyone know how the events(open, close and exec) are triggered?
I am able to scan the eicar file with an on-demand scan but I am unable to get the on-access module to work.
Running Fedora 13 with vsftp server installed.

So you are using the Linux File Security I assume? Did you install Dazuko? This is needed for on access scanning.

    Hi dmaasland,

Yes, I am using Linux File Security.
Trying to configure preload LIBC library instead of dazuko.
I am not sure if the open, close and exec events apply to FTP operations.

With the help of my friend, we manage to set up the Linux File Security for Samba using libesets_pac.so. I would like to know how to set up for vsftp.

FYI, Ubuntu is using Upstart, so I have problem using libesets_pac.so . :D

    >>Hi dmaasland, Dazuko requires kernel compiling - seems difficult :doubt:
