    Hi Everyone,

I just bought Acronis 8.0 True Image so I can backup my PC and laptop to a pair of external hard drives. I am really curious about how the imaging process works. What happens to file system changes while the imaging procedure is running? I think ideally, those changes would be ignored, and that Acronis would essentially be taking a snapshot of the system at the point in time when the imaging process is started. While the image is being created, all file system operations would be hooked and shunted to some temporary location. It's probably more complex than I describe, but any insight would help me plan my backups better.

    Thanks,
    Shailesh
