How do I turn off proxies in Avira (free)?

    Hello everyone,

    How do I turn off proxies in Avira AV (free edition)? I would like to turn off the proxies. I want to use a firewall called Sygate. From what I understand it has a problem with proxies. Thank you for any replies.

    First of all there is no proxies in free Avira or paid, in paid there is web shield and that uses a sort of proxy that causes conflict with Sygate which can't block incoming connection or outgoing for the port being used. Same problem exists with Avast as well as other AVs using Web scanner. The free Avira has none so there is nothing to worry about.

    I deleted my post. I seen you said paid has the web scanner problem, not free.
