    Hi Everyone,

I'm using XP Pro and yesterday I reformatted. For the first time I am experiencing this nightmare called LOG ON before accessing Windows.

    AND WORSE....

Turn OFF and Restart Computer buttons have gone from the 'START button' and now they reside with the LOG ON/OFF stuff.

I am stumped. How do I get rid of this Windows LogOn/Off stuff?

you can change the way xp logs in in the user accounts section, it's somewhere in the control panel. it's called something like change the way windows logs in :D i think that's what you are talking about??
