    Hi yy4u :)

The best way to know what happen with this program and create rules according to his behaviour
is to use 2 TESTS rules (one TCP , one UDP) for this program...

1 ) Download the rules file attached with my post

2 ) Rename the file by removing the .TXT

3 ) Import the rules in LnS

4 ) double-click on each rule and add the program LFS in the rule
with the button "applications..." save, ok...

5 ) In the enhanced LnS rules set, move both rules just before
the general rule "TCP: allow most common Internet services"

    6 ) Save and apply

    7 ) Reboot

8 ) Try the game and check in the log for the port really in use
You can upload a copy of your log here for further help.

Hope this help. Let us know.

    :)

    Hi yy4u :)

Thank you for your reply and the raw log :thumb:

I create 2 rules for your game based on information of your Test rules log.

1 ) Download the rules file

2 ) Rename the file by removing the trailing .TXT

3 ) Import the rules in LnS

4 ) Add the program Live for Speed in each rule like this:
double-click on the rule to open the editor
    click on "applications..." button
add the program in the rule and save it

5 ) Move these specific rules just before the general rule
"TCP: allow most common Internet services"

    6 ) Save and apply

7 ) reboot then try the game.

Tell me if it's working fine.

    :)

I attached here the rules file and the .csv from your log. It can be read with a spreadsheet like OO Calc, Star Office SCalc or MS Excel (comma separated file)

thx you so much for teaching.

the rules working fine when LFS connect to the specific host. other than that same error message appear.

Thus in order to connect to any other host i nid to open the remote port depend on which host i nid to b connect.... that mean different host using different port.. n so i hav to select the range of ports for my require.

therefore i change the second rule LFS 2 as shown as below... n not yet face the same problem but safety issue occur while gaming.

for my understanding am i right?
PS: very sry about a newbie question.
