In the past KMail would look up my e-Mail provider and auto-configure everything (riseup.net). It's not working like that now that I entered a new provider.

This provider doesn't have it's certificate hosted by some corporation, and asks for the user to trust it's root CA instead. This is fine if I'm loggin in via Firefox, but I think THAT is the reason why KMail is not configuring it.

    The provider in question: autistici.org

I don't know how to get it's IMAP server address, so how should I proceed?

It's VPN Gateway, for example, is:
    Code:
    gw.vpn.autistici.org
    I really need this done.

    Thanks.

My god do I feel like a complete newbie now :argh: Guess I'll do research next time instead of trying to figure things "out of thin air".

It worked. Thanks everybody for helping me with this.

I just realized I entered my credentials into this server:
    investici.org

    Investiti was there.

How did it do it? While on the webmail page of autistici, I issued:
    lsof -i

    Then I did:
    http://whois.domaintools.com/autistici.org

And since "investici.org" is listed there as 5 Name Server's, I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm now considering changing my passphrase.
