How do I determine my latest version?

    I have version 3.1. I use Mozilla Firefox, and Spywareblaster lists 2817 items in database. It has listed this amount since I installed this latest verstion.

    Each time I check for updates, the "progress bar" seems to function, and I get a message that I now have the latest definitions, but the number (2817) has never changed. Is this normal? Plus, how can I check on what my latest definition list is (date)?
