How do I correct the Date and Time

    I am trying to straighten out a problem I am having with Office XP . I am following a Microsoft document and it told me to delete opuc.dll . When I do it tells me that it is 1-18-05 . Down in the right hand corner of my desk top the date is correct. What is going on and how can I get the computer to know the correct date and time?
