i want to scan all accounts with spybot. how do i do this is there an option in the options for this
Spybot S&D scans for known malware which installs itself into specific locations. It doesn't scan the whole system, just where it needs to.
And, if it does happen to be scanning any accounts, it will scan the folder:
c:\documents and settings\<user names>
This is where all your profiles for your different accounts are stored
but it only scans my account not everyone elses?? i scan the others on their accounts and they have spyware. i just can't get to my bro's and he has a lot.
Have you thought about trying a scan with Ad-Aware? It scans all accounts and usually finds more baddies than Spybot.
I highly recommend using both of these side-by-side.
i have adaware SE but spybot and adaware find diff things since they are diff programs
What account was Spybot installed under? And, do you have rights to view other people's profiles?
it was installed under mine and i have an administrater account
