How can I clean/wipe slack space?

    Someone was telling me it's important to not only wipe free space but also "slack space".

    Are there any tools which can wipe "slack space"?

    As said in your previous thread, CCleaner and Eraser supports that as well.

    How do I tell CCleaner to wipe and clean the "slack space"?:blink:

    BCWipe is another one.
    i don't like the newer versions. v.3 is also much faster.

    Slack space can only be wiped when the data on the cluster is removed or moved. That means you want to erase the drive.
    I suggest you go to your disk manufacturers site and download the low level format tool and do a low level format on it followed up by erasing it using kill disk, or eraser, dbanetc etc

    360Amigo has a very good function - Disk Wiper. it is a freeware, you can make a try :)
