    Hi,

Can you boot into safe mode ?
You should be able to uninstall PG from there.

    regards,

Donsan, GK's advice is good, to get to Safe mode you need to hit F8 several times just before windows starts to load.
The same would apply to OP

In safe mode navigate to *\windows\system32\drivers and remove procguard.sys
In the registry delete any keys that you can using the following finds
    procguard
    process guard
    pgaccount.

Remove all the files in your Process Guard folder

Then remove the process guard entry found in your startup folder.

    Reboot

You should now be OK to re-install

Donsan I had the same problem and did everything I was told but couldn't reinstall. If this happens to you run a Highjack this scan and remove the process guard entries you find. I still don't understand how everything can be cleaned out but stll show up. Good luck. I have re-downloaded and it is working great.
