Go to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=14086 , and download the latest version of CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom, the creator of Hijack This.
Run it, press 'Fix', and allow it to fix all it finds.

Next, restart you computer, run Hijack This once more, repost to this forum thread, and please show us a fresh log.

There will be more to do!

    Clean log, well done! :D

    As for this startup item:

    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [SSDPSRV] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ssdpsrv.exe

If you are using standard Plug and Play devices, you do not need this application. You can and should de-install it by un-selecting "Universal Plug and Play" in "Add/Remove Programs \ Windows Setup tab \ Communications".

    Cheers,

    Thanks Tony

Much appreciated. Any hints on what spy software to use to prevent this happening again?

    Hayley
