Quite sometime ago I had created an alias in my Hotmail account, and when I was done doing what I had to do, I disabled the alias. I didn't verify the account until now, and to my surprise it was filled with junk e-mail that was sent to the alias e-mail address, but instead got in my inbox.

I thought that once disabling the alias, no e-mail would get in our inbox? So, I checked and it's how I thought it should work:

Has anyone used aliases, and did you still receive e-mail you weren't suppose to be receiving? o_O

I've never deleted an alias to know... but yes I use them. It helps to keep things managed. Separate addresses for certain things (professional/casual/friends/etc) but 1 account to manage them.
