Actually, a Hosts file that is maintained more frequently than that one seems to be, and which is of a quality that I've trusted since I first installed its 07/25/2002 version is this one maintained by hpguru:

So I downloaded HOSTESS and combined HOSTS files from all of these sites....

    http://accs-net.com/hosts/get_hosts.html
    http://webpages.charter.net/hpguru/hosts/hosts.html
KaZaALite's list of SuperTricks and other crappy ad-servers
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
    http://remember.mine.nu/

Now I got an 800KB HOSTS file with no duplicate entries at all. Very powerful indeed...

    Hi MakoFusion,

Ever considered to add your favorites as well?
    I did that using FastNet99.

    Regards,

    Pieter
