TDS-3 did not detect a change I had made to the hosts file with the CRC32 system files test. Is something wrong with my entry? %WINDIR%\HOSTS for W98SE. It is the location of my host file. I had it flagged as read only before and after making the change, would this cause TDS-3 to miss it being changed?

Hi Bluestar50, The CRC check is a checksum of the file - any changes to the file would also alter the checksum and TDS3 should notice the change when you reload TDS3.
Not sure why it is not being picked up.

    Go into your TDS-3 directory.
Check if you have the following sub-directory:
    xDynamic\TDS.data
In case you don't have that sub-directory TDS.data in xDynamic, then simply create it yourself.

Further look in the IMPORTANT sticky threads on top of this forum and look at the CRC related threads.

Let us know if that helps please.
