At last nvidia have released a notebook driver that will install on OEM machines, where as previously you had to visit the manufactuors website (hp are notorious for this) and installed their genetically modified driver :'( Well No more of that nonsense :D nvidia released their VERDE NOTEBOOK RELEASE

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_winvista_win7_x64_197.16_whql.html

which allows you to install GENUINE authentic nvidia drivers  which on a personal note work 100% superior to the genetic.

HP have has a issue where as nowadays nvidia drivers have been unable to be installed since the video card has been intergrated in their motherboard

The VERDE notebook release however allows nvidias drivers to be installed without modification. As an example, when you open the control panel of nvidia from a driver installed from the nvidia website its GUI displays Welcome to the nvidia Control Panel, and allows nvidia aspect ratio scalling. HP however do not allow this fun ction, nor does it display the welcome on the GUI, this is because its a hybrid of Nvidia not the original. Hope that clears it up for you :)
