Every time I start my internet explorer, I am directed to "about: blank" as my homepage. When I try to change my homepage to www.yahoo.com in internet options it reverts back to "about: blank" I ran Norton Anti virus, and it came up with a "reg/seeker" virus and gave me a list of things to change in the registry. I am not sure this is my problem though. When I go to the registry, the problems that Norton gave me are not there. I ran both Ad aware and Spybot S&D. They came up with problems, but not what I was looking for. I have tried many simple things, but I ran out of ideas. Please help me solve this annoying problem. Here is my hijackthis code and thanks in advance for anyone's help.

    Hi Kevin820,

    Welcome to Wilders.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://tyeubi.t.muxa.cc/s.php?aid=420 (obfuscated)

Download CWShredder and run. Be sure ALL other windows are closed and use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

    Regards,
    Kent
