Homepage.com Hijack

    Please help. This morning my IE Browser was hijacked by Homepage.com. I've run Adaware and Spybot.

    Hi RJB,

    From the looks of it you already tried CWShredder as well. Did you use the most current version (1.51.0)?
    If not download, unzip and run: CWShredder
    Use the Fix button and follow the instructions provided by the program.

    Then check the following items in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://homepage.com%00@www.efinder.cchp/ (obfuscated)

    O19 - User stylesheet: (file missing)

    Then change the StartPage to the one you want and reboot.

    Pieter,
    Thanks so much. I did not have the lastest CWShredder and my old version would not let me update for some reason. Anyway, I downloaded the new version and did your other suggestions and all is well.
