    Hi RJB,

From the looks of it you already tried CWShredder as well. Did you use the most current version (1.51.0)?
If not download, unzip and run: CWShredder
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions provided by the program.

Then check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://homepage.com%00@www.efinder.cchp/ (obfuscated)

O19 - User stylesheet: (file missing)

Then change the StartPage to the one you want and reboot.

    Keep us posted,

    Pieter

    Pieter,
Thanks so much. I did not have the lastest CWShredder and my old version would not let me update for some reason. Anyway, I downloaded the new version and did your other suggestions and all is well.
I very appreciate your time and effort!
    RJB
