Looks like I've got a Home Page Hijacker... My home page won't go to my default that I set, but instead goes to www.find4you.com or (occasionally) www.iquicksearch.com. It also has added the following to my Favorites folder & I can't delete them: FREE HIDDEN CAMS WORLD (free.hcworld.com), FREE SPY CAM (free-spy-cam.net), FREE WEB CAMS CHATS (web-cams-chat.com), GET THIS FOR FREE (getthis4rree.com). I've downloaded & run Ad-aware and Spybot per your instructions & problem still persists. So I've downloaded HJT & here's my log file. I can recognize most of the bad files but thought best for you to examine & let me know which ones to delete. Thanks in advance for your help... what a great forum.

    Hi ThaiMeUp,

Before you start please move hijackthis.exe to a folder of it´s own. The program creates backups in the folder it is in. These will now end up on your desktop.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.iquicksearch.net/search.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://find4u.net/sp.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://find4u.net/index.htm
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://find4u.net/index.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.iquicksearch.net/search.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://find4u.net/sp.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://find4u.net/index.htm

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [IEengine] C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEengine.exe

    O16 - DPF: {0246ECA8-996F-11D1-BE2F-00A0C9037DFE} (TDServer Control) - http://www.truedoc.com/activex/tdserver.cab

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/12ca06ec57d1a903e405/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

    O16 - DPF: {C4847596-972C-11D0-9567-00A0C9273C2A} (Crystal Report Viewer Control) - http://www.fairfaxvirginiamls.com/common/admin/reports/viewer/activeXViewer/activexviewer.cab

    Then download and run CWShredder
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions provided by the program.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEengine.exe

    Regards,

    Pieter
