Could somebody please explain to me the difference between "windows 11 home" in comparison to "windows 11 pro"

Basically I'm thinking of getting a new computer but don't know which route to go down as I'm not very computer savvy.

    Thanks

Home - less features, safer, less overhead, performance wise.
Pro - has GPO, technically more customizable, realistically not.

As for me I chose Home over Pro, though Pro is cheaper, $2 vs $1.

There really shouldn't be much difference other than Group Policy support and the ability to join a domain with Pro. Beyond that it will be really hard to tell the difference. If you don't anticipate the need for those things get Home. If you think you will ever need domain support get Pro.

Edit: I see Bitlocker is Pro only but I wouldn't use it either way. I don't trust its reliability.

Group Policy is the only reason I use Pro. I don't care about Bitlocker, either.
