    hi pyrobill67,

    Before you start, please unzip hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
    These easily get lost in a Temp folder.

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.my.myway.com/

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Startpagina = file:///C:/Program%20Files/NowOnline/Portal/portal.html

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7D9E713D-0388-4384-BDD8-2A42EB1C4F04} - (no file)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CLSID] C:\WINDOWS\System32\com.exe

    Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\com.exe
    C:\Program Files\NowOnline <= entire folder

    Regards,

    Pieter
