And broken again in build 131: keyboard entry (sometimes!) becomes garbage in both Firefox and KeePass.

Maybe because I have the paid version of Zemana AntiLogger running as well? (EDIT: No, also problematic without Zemana running)

Installed 131 over the top of 129 on Win7 (64), running fine, no issues. Using Chrome (64) and Nod32 AV + MBAM realtime.
Tried with MBAE and also no issues.

Disabling MBAE doesn't prove it's not the cause, you need to uninstall it to be sure. Otherwise drivers are still installed and may or may not be causing problems.

To be sure it isn't you need to uninstall Zemena

Thanks for pointing this out. You can't be sure that just turning off features is enough to eliminate conflicts.

Bummer; this paid version was a free GiveAway. If I uninstall it I will have to revert to the free version.

If you are using hitman Pro Alert, you really don't need a key logger. The keyboard encryption should be adequate

Am I the only one here who thinks that it's more important to prevent infections than to prevent an executable from logging your keystrokes? :isay:

I am another one having problems since build 125 with the keyboard entries in IE11 being encrypted. I did have Zemana Antilogger paid installed but uninstalled it when the problems began and it hasn't made any difference at all. The only conflict I have is that the keyboard entries in IE11 address bar are scrambled if I have HMP.A and EIS installed together - remove EIS from the machine and everything is OK. But, although Chrome and Firefox work with HMP.A and EIS I want to find the cause of this conflict involving IE11 because there are instances where I want/need to use IE11.

Yes I know, and so does Peter2150 but he doesn't seem to have the scrambled IE11 keyboard entries and he is running almost the same security software as I am. Go figure.

It doesn't have to happen, but it sometimes does, because even though it's not related to exploit blocking, it's still monitoring the same memory areas. And it doesn't have to be HMPA that's causing the problem, it can also be another tool like MBAE, as we have already seen. Of course I hope that HMPA free (without exploit protection) will always be compatible with MBAE and EMET, for users who want to combine these tools.

    Hi zakazak
It checks [does work] automatically, check your Computer> Manage> Event Viewer> Custom Views> Administrative Events.

I wished there was a choice to check manually rather then it being automatic, save having to clean out unnecessary Administrative Events. ;)

Nope. I've never even considered running a separate keylogger.

Fair enough. It's only happened once on each of my two systems since installing Build 131 but if it does happen too often I will have to make a decision about uninstalling MBAE to see if it continues.

I just updated to the latest RC build 131, a short time ago.

However, as the browser was loading I got the attached memory access error, which I have mentioned previously.

Also, just got another warning message after I went into services and restarted HMP.A service.

    ScreenShot_Hmp.A_3.0.22 build 131_install_09.gif

P.S. I seem to have lost encryption of keystrokes in the browser, too.

P.P.S. Also, when I post in a sub-forum, I no longer see the result of the post. I have to go back to another open window on the Wilders forum and refresh, then I see my post has been accepted. Odd, because this in not normal.

Restarting the service can cause loss of encryption. Any reason for restarting the service?

It restarted, I had noticed when I got that error message in post #3344... So, when I got that subsequent error message, I thought it might be the cause of the loss of keystroke encryption.

Perhaps, I need to reboot, to bring back encryption.
