I rarely see the GUI, so dated or not I don't care. But what I do care about is the protection the SBIE consistently provides. Also your assumption about price was wrong.

This is a correct explanation of ReHIPS. But Comodo is virtualization.

@cruelsister i never talked about bypasses, read my words properly!
i talk about control options and settings, Comodo has almost nothing, all is hardcoded, with ReHIPS or Sandboxie i can adjust various settings like folders or registry access rights (and plenty more) for each sandbox; Comodo can't. That is it.

    Hi @ Wilders

Can Firefox latest version be used with ReHips Free. I suppose the question I am posing is: Does Firefox have less than 10 processes running?

    Thanks

    Terry

no problem, not saying browser extensions use processes too.
However i remember during FF betas, by tweaking the hidden settings you could make FF a single process browser (but loosing the sandboxing feature, which requires multi-processing); not sure it still work, maybe you can investigate.

The style of Sandboxie's user interface is "retro" and decidedly anti-modern. I like it; it's funky.

I'd be ok with it too, but it lacks some basic functionality that I've grown accustomed to over the last 10 years. :D
