Is there a HIPS list on Wilders that show most of the major brands with descriptions, listed in just one post?

If there isn't it would be nice that someone make one post that lists most of the popular apps with small descriptions.

I don't know about the rest of you, but even as a geek I find there to be an overwhelming amount of applications to choose from that don't make the task simple on which to choose, or which are even worth bothering with.

    THANKS

I think that's an excellent idea.
Maybe something like the "sticky" thread they have for antivirus screenshots?

    Yes.
And maybe a short write-up on the features to go with the screenshots.

Yep. They had a very good review section too.

Years ago Wilders had the best security section on the internet.
You could find programs by category with brief descriptions. Shareware and freeware both. Back then (7 years ago) there weren't as many programs either.

I have a list I got from Castle Cops a long while back. No screenshot just a spreadsheet. PM me and I'll send it to you.

That's to insane to dig through, not that kind of list.

Yes something more like this and this one also I found on Spychecker.com for Spyware/Malware apps, lists like these that give us a break down, reviews, comments, etc., something that better informs the end-user with what the application is all about, pros, cons too, just putting up a list of URLs anyone can do, that doesn't teach us anything.

    THANKS
