HIPS in comodo firewall 3 beta

do you guys think it is good, or do i need to get a stand alone program?

 

Right now it's in beta so please don't judge it now, but I think it'll be sweet and when it's out I'll finally have a hips that I will like, I've tried a few.

 

Look in the firewalls section of this forum.
It appears that Comodo will be making some positive changes.
I'd hold off on using anything of theirs for now.
Just an opinion.

I guess you're better off with a stand-alone HIPS, at least for now since Defense+ (Comodo HIPS) is still at beta. Somebody posted a test app at Comodo forums that Defense+ failed. There are some other features that are missing still.

 

If I want Hips, I'd install one, If I want a Firewall, I'd install one.

I don't want to install a firewall and get HIPS. This is where things start to get convoluted and confusing.
