    Hi,
I am trying to remove the Prosearch toolbar from my browser. I ran HijackThis, and the log is below. Could you please review this log, and let me know which items should be fixed?
    Thank you.

    Hi Marianna,

Thank you very much for your help. I followed the steps, and the Prosearch toolbar is now gone! That's a relief!

Things seem to be working fine, except that I now have a problem when I use Google. If I click on a link after searching in Google, instead of getting the website I want, I get the Google main search page again. Is there anything in the HijackThis log below that explains this problem? Please help with this, if possible.

    Thank you.

I looked at your log - I can NOT see anthing "strange".

    Is this correct:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = 127.0.0.1:7212 ??

If not, you could fix it in HJT - and see if that helps if it's gone. You can always restore this one as HJT made backups.

    Otherwise I see nothing -
