    Re: Google returning bogus results

    Hi,

I don't see anything in your log that is bad, but there seems to be few starting processes in it. Have you put items in the ignore list for hijackthis or disabled them in msconfig? Maybe a different user on the sytem?

You Need to Update Windows and IE to get all the Latest Security Patches that Protects Your Computer.

This can be accessed by going to http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and following the prompts.

This is probably ok if you set it by using spybot's restrictions or maybe by you or the system admin. If not, you can fix it.

    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

If you do post another log, be sure to put hijackthis into it's own permanent folder:

    Click My Computer, then C:\
    In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder. Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.

    Hi again,

Go to this site and follow the removal instructions for gator, copy all of your passwords before deleting it http://www.pchell.com/support/gator.shtml

Check the boxes next to all these, close all other windows, then click Fix Checked.

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows System Configure] C:\WINDOWS\system32\SystemConfig.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [tspyfqh] C:\WINDOWS\tspyfqh.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CMESys] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe"

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [msmc] C:\WINDOWS\System32\msmc.exe

After that, Reboot into safe mode (use link in Unzy's post for instructions) and find these and delete them:

    C:\Program Files\zSearch\Zstb.exe <--- entire zsearch floder

    C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe <--- Entire TV media folder

    C:\WINDOWS\tspyfqh.exe <--- file only

C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe Entire Cmeii folder if still present

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\msmc.exe <--- file only

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SystemConfig.exe <--- File only

Enable hidden files also to help find them http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html#5

You needd an antivirus, go here and get AVG, it's free http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php

You may have set this through Spybot or another means, if not set by you or the system admin, then fix
