I have had my IE browser hijacked and have run Ad-Aware 6 and Spybot S&D, but the problem is still there. The home page is constantly set back to secure.html. Any help would be great. Cheers.

    step 3: Run FIX
step 4: Close the program and reboot
step 5: Post a fresh log to be reviewed by experts and

Thanks for the help Subratam, I have downloaded and run CWShredder, rebooted and unfortunately the problem still exists. The homepage that it now defaults to has, in part, the following message on it. system error #384.

    Cheers

    Hi Muzza,

I was wondering about two entries in your log:
    O3 - Toolbar: SupportCentral - {E5CA3FCB-32F0-4602-A3FD-0785E3F0F5BF} - C:\WINNT\System32\SCTOOL~1.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RUNCIS] C:\Program Files\1E\CIS\\RUNCIS.EXE

Do you know what they do and where they came from?

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi Pieter,

To answer your query, the first entry:

    O3 - Toolbar: SupportCentral - {E5CA3FCB-32F0-4602-A3FD-0785E3F0F5BF} - C:\WINNT\System32\SCTOOL~1.DLL

is an intranet based support tool used within the company. As for the second:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RUNCIS] C:\Program Files\1E\CIS\\RUNCIS.EXE

I'm not sure what this is either, but I will now investigate and find out.
