hiding from a stalker who looks at ip

hi, HTTP TUNNEL looks like a windows program, i'm using Linux. i think i'm OK now though, i've just configured my IRC client to use Privoxy and TOR.

i'm using socks4 not socks4a, i thought 4a was what i should use. i'll see what happens with DNS when i make some connections and do abit more reading.

BTW - You can configure/force any app to use any proxy regardless of their options using proxychains.

No you'd use proxychains to force an app to use a proxy if it doesn't have an option for doing so.

They're concern isn't tor itself ... but that trolls tend to use such services to do their misdeeds and when they do, it can result in the banning of IPs. They aren't all banned you'll see that as the routing cycles ... it's hit and miss.
