    I'm sure Snap won't mind :D
    http://www.whisperscorner.com/tuts/shimstar/index.html

Now I worked through this 'shimmering star' tutorial and everything went sweet until I tried to open the psp file in animation shop and it said invalid file type!!!
I did a repair install on both PSP and AS now I've got quite a few entries for each in Add/remove progs?? I'm thinking about wiping them and reinstalling fresh....but I've got lots ofplugins/frames and stuff that I'll have to go and find again!! I'm not real happy at present!

Many thanks Brad and of course Snap. :D It sure will come in handy.
Move everything from your frames, plugins, tubes into another directory and uninstall PSP. Afterwards just move everything back.
It should work, because I did it too.
No need to wipe everything. ;)

I think I've sorted this....I was saving as a PSP image not an animation shop file...
    Here's another....

How did you do that, I mean saving it as a PSP? :D
Great animated GIF , although it would be better to make the black background transparent.
    Only a suggestion Brad. ;)

A big thanks to Pattie! I'm learning.....don't fully understand what I'm doing! :D ....but I'm learning!

Didn't need to reinstall PSP after all that.....although it never fixed my right-click problem.
If I right click a file and 'open with PSP'...windows can't find it. But if I open PSP and 'open' the file it comes up just fine??

LOL! Thank you for the 'thank you', Brad, but I just gave you the link......you did all the work. :D

You are pretty much into the Advanced Level tutorials now....but it really does get easier. ;)

You're doing some pretty awesome stuff now with great imagination put into them. Pretty soon you'll be looking at taking on Photoshop! ;) :D

    Regards,

    snap
