    A better idea... Someone should write an article on where to buy backup drives and imaging software so you don't have to pay the ransom. ;)

    The article mentions backups twice. The quoted paragraph above mentions effective back ups that for what ever reason don't work. How could that be if they are effective?:cautious:

    It says effective backups are required to avoid becoming part of the statistics. That part is accurate and makes sense.

    Obviously if they fail they are no longer effective.
