I appologise if this in in the wrong section.

When I start my computer I get this when windows is loaded-

    ERROR![/
Cannot find a file necessary to continue Virtual Truck setup
    E:\VTruck.exe

    My system is:
    Windows XP Home SP2
    Asus P4P 800-E Deluxe motherboard
    Intel 3.2E
    Maxtor 120gig SATA HDD
    Plextor SA-712A DVD+-RW
    Lite-on CD-RW and a cheap Floppy drive
    Thermaltake XaserIII v1000A case
This system is one that I built myself from scratch

I think it's something to do with the American Mega Trends for the Asus motherboard but not sure. I can't find anything on it doing a full system search. Nothing is in the BIOS on it and nothing found in the registry. When I first got the Spy Sweeper trial version, on my old Western Digital HDD that crashed, it picked up on it and it was removed. Now with the Maxtor and the paid for Spy Sweeper software I can't get rid of it, as it's not picked up in the Alerts.

Anyone have any ideas how to chuck this pain in the butt.

Since you are XP....do you see a Vtruck OR Vtangent icon when you go to Start button\Programs\Startup ?

    If so....delete that from Startup.

Also....vtruck is usually associated with BroadJump Virtual Truck which is used by some ISP's in an installation process. If the above does not work....take a look at the below link concerning an entry that might be in your Win.ini file.
