Help with log file?

    I have win XP, use Norton and run Adaware, but still the popups and the about: blank browser windows. I ran this hijack program and now I guess I need someone to tell me what I should and should not fix? What a cool forum..... Below is my log. Can someone help? Thanks in adavance...

    Open -> 'fix' -> click 'next'

    Hi Mark Thomas,

    Before you start, please unzip hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
    These easily get lost in a Temp folder.

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - C:\WINNT\mxTarget.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINNT\UpdReg.EXE

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [putil] C:\WINNT\Pinch.exe

    Then reboot and rename Pinch.exe to pinch.bak
    Could you send me a copy of that file?

    Well, I followed your instructions, but now I do not have a file named "Pinch.exe" to send you. I hope that is good... May I ask why you would have wanted it?

    Am I done? I seem to be surfing faster and haven't seen the popups in the few times I've opened up IE.....
