Hi, I have downloaded the V.1.1 of Process Guard Free and i m thinking of trying to protecting KAV with it. A question.Since the critical function of KAV in case of infection will be to be able to do manual scan,which process should i protect? AVPM.exe? AVPCC.exe? Or both that then in this case i can't use process guard free? Thank you
KAV Monitor protects itself, and tells you which process just tried to kill it. You can test it with the killdemo if you like The Control Centre is probably not very critical, so I would suggest you protect your firewall instead, or trojan scanner.
