Help SpywareBlaster won't start

When I launch the tool I get a popup: This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the HD or virus. Please re-install it.

I've tried many reinstall but nothing works. I have no bad sectors on the HD and I have Norton AV with real time scan active. I'm virus free as of today's virus definition file. I can only suspect either a spyware is blocking the 'blaster or there is a conflict between this one and others on the system. I'm running Ad-Aware and Spybot in tadem. Those are both detect and remove. I was hoping with a tool such as this I could prevent the malware from coming in to start with.

Anyone has any ideas?

I knew it had to be something with current infection. I've got two of the three recommended products. I'll look for hijackthis and see if that helps. If not then like Javacool say...wait for version 3.2.
