On a full scan of my C: drive last night, NOD32 reported the following virii:- a. Documents and Settings\*****\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javap\v1.0\jar\Counters.jar-3471f8bd-4a618a13.zip>ZIP>Counter class - Java/Exploit Bytverify trojan b. [prefix as above] ZIP>VerifierBug class - Java/Exploit Bytverify trojan c. [prefix as above] ZIP>Gummy class - Java/Bytverify trojan d. [prefix as above] ZIP>Beyond class - Java/Exploit Bytverify trojan There was no indication, however, what action had been taken as a result. A right-click on each entry showed 'Clean' greyed out. Is this because they were cleaned automatically? Or because, as they appear to be in a ZIP folder, they are harmless or untouchable? I would appreciate your advice please. S Edit - have just seen recent posts on Bytverify trojan but not sure that helps me understand what to do next. Windows XP SP1, NOD32v2 (latest defs), BOClean, Sygate PF Pro, Spybot S&D.
