Help re Windows Defender

    I've finally abled to install Windows Defender on my Win 2000 PC and all went well. After the install etc etc I re-booted my PC etc but now the problem is I am not getting Windows defender real time protection in my taskbar near the clock like what I did with MS Antispyware previously.

    Does WD offer real time protection like its previous counterpart ?

    it does provide realtime protection, but there is no systray icon. dont worry however, the service is running
