I'm trying to image a clean install of Windows XP on my new computer via a Bootable Rescue Media CD of TI Home 9.0 (build 3677) but I can't see my network card or drives connected via the Firewire interface.

Also it won't write to the internal DVD recorder - the program just sits there while the DVD-R drive spins up and down. Then after 5 mins or so the DVD drive head clatters about in a disturbing manner.

The TI Disc works perfectly on other PC's just not on this one could it be the mainboard/processor that TI doesn't understand?

My systems is based on an MSI Neo Mainboard with an AMD Athlon 64 (AM2) 3000+ with 512Mb of RAM, SATA internal drive and a Lite-On DVD-R on the IDE channel. The network card is built in to the mainboard.

The PC works perfectly I just want to image the clean OS on the C drive before I add any more programs and drivers.

    Can anyone help?
