    Hey everyone,

I have a friend (well, cousin) whos computer no longer has sound. His aunt uninstalled the audio driver in c:/drivers/audio using remove.exe. He says he no longer has the install file for it and wanted to no how to reinstall it. He runs Win XP home (not sure of service pack). Any help appreciated. Xaq

PS: I have an install file on my comp (c:/drivers/audio/install.exe) and wanted to no if burning that file to a cd and having him run it on his comp would help? Thanks for helping a novice. Xaq

easiest way 2 find the sound card make is pull it out of the PCI Slots at the back (white slots)

    OR

if its onboard, find the maker of your motherboard (should say on it somewhere)

and goto the appropriate website 2 download drivers
