I am assuming this is the virus causing my problems, I get a couple of pop ups almost everytime I close internet explorer (ironically they are usually advertisements for programs to remove spyware). I have runs AVG and Ad-Aware they supposedly remove everything so i reboot and still get the pop ups. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for your replies. I have posted my log in the hijack forum, I just haven't gotten any responses so I saw some other posts in here about secthought.e so I thought i would post it here to see if anyone knew how to get rid of it. Should I just format my harddrive and start over? I picked up another virus about a week ago and got tired of fighting it so I took the time to do that. Unfortunately, I did not get my firewall and antivirus installed before I had to go to the web for a driver download and picked this one up. Thanks again

The people in the hijack forum are trained to know what to look for. Better to let them help. It is backed up in that forum now, but they will get to you.
