I currently use paint to do screen shots. I need to find a software to add arrows and text much like Blackspear used to make his wonderful tutorial on NOD. I did a few searches here but did not find anything. I know I have seen it discussed here before. Can someone point me in the rite direction?

    Thanx

I use also Snagit to make my installation files for each software and screenshots are a big help to remember the settings of each software. Snagit makes it possible to change these screenshots : text-markers, arrows, text labels, ...

I also recommend FastStone Capture. IMO, it's the best freebie currently out.
