help installing norton anti virus 2005

i have to uninstall norton 2003 and idk what stuff to uninstall in the uninstall thing. there are like 4 or so things.

 

exit norton antivirus by right cliking the icon on the taskbar and select end or quit (whatever yours says) this will stop the anti-virus program. next go into your control panel and select add and remove programs (select the one that says norton antivirus 2003) then pick on remove. it should pop up a dialog box asking if your sure select yes to all. when it is finished you will need to reboot your computer. go back into control panel and if you see any other items in the add and remove section that say norton antivirus or firewall etc. follow the previous steps and slect remove and reboot when finished. when all are gone from the add and remove section then you can go ahead and install the norton antivirus 2005 version. any trouble please post back for more help. hope this answered your question.

you don't have to remove norton firewall to remove norton antivirus.
