Help! I don't know where to start

I know I have some spyware or hijacking stuff in my computer but I don't know where to even start to get help on this forum. Could someone tell me how to get the list of stuff running so I can post it (and how to post it) so I can get some help. It's eating up my ram and my computer is slow.

    Thanks

    Brad

    Hi Brad,

Take a look at the following thread. Read through it carefully and then perform all 3 steps as described:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=15913

After you've posted a HijackThis Log here in this thread, you need to come back and look for whatever advice people give you.

    Hello STKLAW,

I see you have Spyware S&D already. Did you download CWShedder already and use? If not, do so:

CWShredder Click on update, then close all browsers, and then click on Fix, not scan.

What do you use as your homepage? Or better question, what would you like your homepage to be?

Run Hijackthis again with all windows closed and check this item and click on Fix: (This is a resource hog and will only delete the link)

    O4 - Global Startup: Updates from HP.lnk = C:\Program Files\Updates from HP\137903\Program\BackWeb-137903.exe

Reboot and post a new log here.

    Hello STKLAW,

I have been notified that you have more than one post going. I deleted one of them. Are you working on two computers? If so, I will leave this open along with the other one that CalamityJane is helping you with. Let me know please and please stick with one threads that you have open.
