if you need to set the executable permissions, right-click the file > properties, and there should be an option something like 'allow to run as executable'. At least that's the procedure in Ubuntu :)

Whether you are installing EAV Linux Home or Business, for Red Hat, you can follow the instructions in this ESET Knowledgebase article:

How do I Download and Install ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 Business Edition for Linux Desktop on a workstation?

As mentioned by dmaasland and dannyboy, be sure to select the execute permission. Also, with Red Hat, SELinux is not disabled by default (as it is on some Ubuntu distros). If you downloaded the incorrect version (32/64-bit), nothing will happen when you double-click the install package.

See this Wilders post for a list of Linux Desktop Knowledgebase articles for other questions.

Hi, I had been successful on installation ,but my coworker encounter an error when he install this package: after installation, we were recommanded to reboot, then the REHL5.2 kernel 2.6.18 stoped, show him "GRUB", does ESET progrom modify GRUB config file to start with system? and does this make init error? do you have encounter some cases like this? regards

Your coworker should contact a support engineer by using this form to open a ticket, or by calling the office at +1 (866) 343-3738 during business hours.

If you are outside the U.S. and Canada, contact the closest ESET distributer or office for support.
