help! cannot uninstall Spyware Guard

Hi, yesterday I installed Spyware Guard, and today my Notebook is behaving VERY weird. ERROR windows now popup at startup (concerning drwtsn32.exe and Apoint.exe).
So I want to try uninstalling Spyware Guard, but...
Windows tells me it can not uninstall SG because it is running, and that I should first click the SG icon etc...
JUST... there is no SG icon anymore!
How can I uninstall SG?

What O/S are u running? Some users do have this problem in XP of the SG icon disappearing....

Try opening Task Manager and killing these 2 processes,

SGMAIN.EXE

SGBHP.EXE

Hopefully after that that u can uninstall Spywareguard. U could also try installing over top and see if the taskbar icon reappears. This has worked for some people.

I had same problem with Spywareguard i.e. no icon in tray (disappeared) and non-responsive icon in start menu.

As per your instructions... I went into Task Manager and killed these 2 processes,

SGMAIN.EXE

SGBHP.EXE

Now I have tray icon that responds and opens program. Instant! Sweet!
I run XP. I installed 4 javacool progs. and my sys. seems to drag a bit but I'll give it a while. And we'll see if the above remedy works. So far, so good.
