I need to image a few stock hard drives for some big box PCs. They all have the hidden restore partitions. We plan on pulling the drives before the machines are even turned on. Will HDM 11 running under WinPE handle this type of drive/partition setup without any problems?

Possibly, but HDM is too old. I would use HDM 12.

Please make sure you are compliant with licensing, you will need to make sure that you have a license per machine.

My understanding is that there is no significant difference for backup and restore via WinPE in 11 vs 12.

I'm over compliant! 15 licenses being used on half as many machines.

I also have HDM 12 and HDM 14 so if there is a technical reason to use either of those instead of HDM 11, again via WinPE, please let me know.
